Jorge Sánchez

Trained in both Mexico and the United States. That combination is rare, and exactly what a cross-border buyer needs.

Jorge earned his law degree (LL.B.) at the Universidad de las Américas Puebla (UDLAP) and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the University of Southern California (USC). He is also certified as a Mexican Legal Consultant by the California Bar Association, which lets him advise on transactions with ties to the U.S. He works in English and Spanish, with both American and Canadian buyers across the Riviera Maya.

How to verify us, and any Mexican lawyer

Four checks anyone can do in a few minutes. A legitimate professional will welcome every one of them.

1. Check the cédula profesional

Every licensed Mexican lawyer has a cédula profesional. Look it up on the federal registry (SEP / RNP). Ours is on file and provided on request demo.

Open the official SEP registry

2. Ask for the cédula + photo ID

Then match the name to the registry. Real lawyers share this without hesitation. Evasion is a red flag.

3. Confirm the notario público

Deeds are formalized by a state-appointed notario. Confirm they appear on the state's official list before you sign anything.

4. Watch the money

Never wire to a personal account without a written, scoped engagement. Fees should be flat and in writing.

Our promise: an initial consultation, flat fees quoted in writing before you pay, and your matter kept confidential.

I'd been burned once. Jorge handed me his cédula number before I even asked, and walked me through checking it myself.
